Today has seen three new signings arrive at Oakwell as Barnsley look to bolster their squad in an attempt to move away from the drop zone in League One.

Midfielder Ben Pearson has signed on a one month loan from Manchester United.

Also in on an initial one month loan is Stoke striker George Waring. Waring is 6`5″ so should bring the presence up top that the reds have lacked all season.

Also in is Milan Lalkovic who is a Slovakian forward who has penned an 18 month contract.

As many as three more permanent signings could arrive before the end of the transfer window as Barnsley search for a squad capable of competing towards the top of the table.
