With the international break upon us it means that there was no game for Barnsley at the weekend. A number of our players were still in action however as Leagues one and two still had full fixture lists.

A number of our players are currently on loan at clubs in the lower leagues so we thought this would be a good opportunity to take a look at how they are doing with things being quiet now at Oakwell.

First we turn our attentions to George Moncur who made a surprise deadline day move to Peterborough. He made his debut for them in a 2 – 2 draw with Swindon Town. He came on as a 60th minute substitute and from what I have heard and read from Peterborough fans, they were very impressed with him.

Shaun Tuton made his debut for Grimsby Town as they also drew 2 – 2 with Notts County. Tuton started for The Mariners and managed to get 76 minutes under his belt. Fellow Red Kayden Jackson missed out on selection for Grimsby after picking up a knock in training.

Forgotten man Lewin Nyatanga played the full 90 minutes for Northampton Town as they beat MK Dons 3 – 2.
