Reds Sign Alnwick

Barnsley have signed former Tottenham goalkeeper Ben Alnwick on a free transfer.

Boss Keith Hill sees the 25 year old as perfect competition for current number one Luke Steele.

I see this as a good signing as we are in need of another quality keeper.

I do think Steele will take some shifting from between the posts but finally a decent understudy for if Steele is injured.
