With speculation over Adam Hammill’s future at an all time high, Mark Robins has revealed that it is out of his hands whether the club can hang on to their prized assett or not.

Speaking to the BBC, Reds boss Mark Robins said: ‘There’s been interest from a few clubs but again it’s out of my control. If he makes a decision that he’s going to leave and if the clubs in question come up with the right amount of money, then he can go.’

Blackpool, Everton, Bolton Wanderers and Nottingham Forest are just a few of the clubs rumoured to be interested in the former Liverpool youngster and it’s going to be a long month of trying to keep a hold of him according to a characteristically tongue in cheek comment from Robins: ‘It’s the 1st of January today. I look forward to another 30 days of debate on Adam Hammill’s future.’
