Barnsley’s Brazilian midfielder Anderson de Silva is set for a scan on the hamstring injury he picked up in the Reds’ 3-1 win over West Brom on Tuesday.
The samba-man pulled up as his hamstring tightened and Reds physio Chris Burton expressed his concern to barnsleyfc.co.uk:
‘Anderson felt his hamstring in last night’s game and was forced to come off.’
The Brazilian’s scan was scheduled for this afternoon and the results are yet to be revealed.
