Barnsley have accepted an offer from Wigan believed to be around £3 million for John Stones.

Stones is currently in talks with Wigan to see if a deal can be agreed.

If sold Stones will become the second highest sale of Barnsley player behind the £4.5 million Blackburn paid for Ashley Ward.

There were rumours that if Stones was sold in January that the reds would only accept the deal if he was to be loaned back to Barnsley for the rest of the season. I hope this will be the case but we will have to wait and see.
