Barnsley could be faced with an offer that can’t be refuse for Andy Yiadom?

Yiadom, which has seen the Reds turn down three bids, had been strongly linked with Huddersfield but now Swansea have ‘moved to the front of the queue’, according to the Sun.

£2m had reportedly been the maximum offered from Huddersfield with Swansea’s bid £3m.

It was also claimed Championship rivals Reading held and interest in the Ghanaian international but as a couple of clubs could potentially offer Yiadom Premier League football you would suspect that would be taken, assuming the offer is accepted.

As Yiadom, 25, only has 12 months on his contract such an offer could prove too good to Barnsley to refuse and from the viewpoint of the full back the chance to go from non-league into the Football League, play international football and then leap from League Two to the Premier League in a little over a year would have to be taken, wouldn’t it?
