Barnsley’s post Danny Wilson era, after his second spell ended with his sacking in midweek, begins with us facing an away game at a struggling league 1 side – more so than ourselves at present!

We’re off to Broadfield Stadium as we look to react to the midweek defeat with a first win away from home since November sought against Crawley on Saturday.

Crawley will be without captain Joe Walsh (suspension) following his sending off in the five-nil defeat against Doncaster and they have a doubt over Dean Leacock (groin). Brian Jensen (dislocated finger), Josh Simpson (hamstring), Conor Henderson (ankle) and Matt Harrold (Achilles) all miss out.

The caretaker management team of Mark Burton and Paul Heckingbottom will be selecting the team, and are hopeful that Sam Winnall (hamstring) will be fit to return.

There aren’t any other fresh injury or suspension concerns to contend with but George Smith and Alex Kiwomya could be recalled into the starting XI as the seven-point gap from the play-offs is something we look to close…. And also extend the seven-point gap from the bottom four!

Ahead of the game we’re looking for your views on what way you think this game will go, which obviously requires you to vote in one of three ways:-

Barnsley win
Crawley win
