Barnsley or Chesterfield to win as the League 1 season continues on Saturday at Oakwell?

Then again, which is more than possible of course, it could be a draw!

Having secured the JPT, with the Wembley win over Oxford last Sunday, Barnsley weren’t in league action so lost ground on Bradford and Millwall.

We’ll aim to make this up against Chesterfield, who visit for this 3pm kick-off tomorrow still very much involved in a relegation battle. But they come into this having beaten Port Vale four-two last time round, with Vale also the last side we played in the league and also beat!

That three-two win to lift the JPT for the first time in our history, as we came from a goal-down, was a very welcome boost (dare I say ‘bonus’, without being flippant) to our season but now attention turns once more to the bread and butter of League 1 and our play-off push.

The fixtures are.

Saturday 9th April 2016
Barnsley v Chesterfield 15:00
Blackpool v Colchester 15:00
Bradford v Swindon 15:00
Bury v Doncaster 15:00
Millwall v Shrewsbury 15:00
Oldham v Walsall 15:00
Peterborough v Rochdale 15:00
Port Vale v Crewe 15:00
Scunthorpe v Burton 15:00
Sheff Utd v Gillingham 15:00
Southend v Fleetwood 15:00
Wigan v Coventry 15:00

One visit to Wembley (our first ever) has proven successful! We’ll look to return in May for the play-off final but at this point in time we’ll just take it a game at a time but do head into this game knowing we need to beat the Spireites tomorrow really or (especially if Bradford and Millwall get positive results) we could have too much ground to make up again.

But will this happen?

Whatever the line up expectancy will be high and ahead of the game we’re looking for your views on what way you think it will go, which obviously requires you to vote in the latest poll one of three ways….

Barnsley win
Chesterfield win
Draw

Not only do we want you to cast your vote, which you do to your right, we’re also looking for your thoughts and views too so do share some of those with your comments below.
