Barnsley or Southend to win as the League 1 season continues on Saturday at Oakwell?

Then again, which is more than possible of course, it could be a draw!

This 3pm kick-off will see Barnsley, fresh from a three-one win over Walsall to put us into the play-offs, come up against a possible rival for this place Southend.

Phil Brown brings his side to Oakwell four-points off the top six and, basically, knowing they need to win but with our 11 wins in 13-matches behind us the confidence is sky high so with our fate now in ‘our own hands’ we’ll seek to keep it that way.

Paul Heckingbottom wasn’t able to win the Manager of the Month award yet perhaps this isn’t a bad thing as it can be a jinx can’t it, last time round it saw Lee Johnson head off to Bristol City having won it – not that his exit has done us too much hard has it!

The fixtures are.

Saturday 12th March 2016
Barnsley v Southend 15:00
Blackpool v Coventry 15:00
Bradford v Doncaster 15:00
Burton v Fleetwood 15:00
Chesterfield v Walsall 15:00

Gillingham v Crewe 15:00
Peterborough v Port Vale 15:00
Rochdale v Bury 15:00
Sheff Utd v Oldham 15:00

It goes without saying a Barnsley win is what we hope for.

But will this happen?

Whatever the line up expectancy will be high and ahead of the game we’re looking for your views on what way you think it will go, which obviously requires you to vote in the latest poll one of three ways….

Barnsley win
Southend win

Not only do we want you to cast your vote, which you do to your right, we’re also looking for your thoughts and views too so do share some of those with your comments below.
