Barnsley are in FA Cup action against Altrincham at Moss Lane on Saturday, with this a 3pm kick-off.

With what it almost ‘last chance saloon’ time for Lee Johnson, something he basically admits he knows going into this match after an appalling losing run, if Barnsley’s FA Cup interest ends against Non-League side Altrincham that’ll be ‘all she wrote’ for the Head Coach you feel!

Altrincham, who play in the National League, can call upon Ryan Crowther (illness) but they’ll be missing joint top goalscorer Michael Rankine (hamstring) as are Stuart Coburn, Shaun Densmore, Tom Marshall and Andrew Parry.

Johnson could have Conor Hourihane (hamstring) and Marley Watkins (ankle) back after injuries to give Barnsley a boost.

However, Ryan Williams (groin) is out again and a ‘knock’ to Cardiff loanee Kadeem Harris has seen him return to Cardiff.

A run of three, from the last four, FA Cup ties won away from Oakwell by Barnsley should offer up encouragement against an Altrincham side that lost in the first round last season.

The Red will hope for a positive result, to progress into the second round of the FA Cup but will this happen?

Whatever the line up expectancy will be high of at least one more tie, and ahead of the game we’re looking for your views on what way you think it will go, which obviously requires you to vote in the latest poll one of two ways….

Barnsley win
Altrincham win

Not only do we want you to cast your vote, which you do to your right, we’re also looking for your thoughts and views too so do share some of those with your comments below.
