Barnsley’s League 1 season continues against Bury at Oakwell on Sunday; with this a 3pm kick-off.

Fresh from making the JPT final after the penalty shootout win over Fleetwood, where Barnsley will face Oxford who beat Millwall, the Reds look to keep the impressive league run going today.

This run, if it is to carry on, will be led by Paul Heckingbottom and Tommy Wright in a caretaker basis with them stepping up following Lee Johnson’s decision to take the Head Coach role with Bristol City.

At least the positive is the transfer window is close so as long as the players stay focused Johnson can’t look to return to Oakwell to pinch any, not until the summer at least! Technically loan deal could soon be secured but there wouldn’t be any benefit (to Barnsley) of allowing that.

Back to the game, if the winning run in the league can continue against Bury, who have dropped off the pace a little after a fine start to the season, thoughts will really start turning towards a possible play-off push so Barnsley will hope for a positive result, but will this happen?

Whatever the line up expectancy will be high and ahead of the game we’re looking for your views on what way you think it will go, which obviously requires you to vote in the latest poll one of three ways….

Barnsley win
Bury win

Not only do we want you to cast your vote, which you do to your right, we’re also looking for your thoughts and views too so do share some of those with your comments below.
