Barnsley’s League 1 season continues against Crewe at Oakwell on Saturday; with this a traditional 3pm kick-off.

A reaction to the disappointing Yorkshire derby defeat last Saturday will be the aim for Barnsley this weekend as the Reds looks to bounce back from that Doncaster defeat, which couldn’t happen in the JPT in midweek due to the Bradford postponement, at struggling Crewe.

It’s important three-points, which would be expected to be collected, are collected as Barnsley run the risk of being ‘cut adrift’ of the top six slightly due to the lack of consistency being seen with the Reds so far.

Lee Johnson will be without Ryan Williams again who is ‘progressing slowly but surely’ with Joe Rothwell booked in for an operation (to take his tonsils) but that isn’t until 22nd October so he’ll be available.

Dan Crowley, Simeon Jackson and Conor Wilkinson (all international duty) miss out though.

The Reds will hope for a positive result, but will this happen?

Whatever line up Johnson goes with expectancy will be high and ahead of the game we’re looking for your views on what way you think it will go, which obviously requires you to vote in the latest poll one of three ways….

Barnsley win
Crewe win

Not only do we want you to cast your vote, which you do to your right, we’re also looking for your thoughts and views too so do share some of those with your comments below.
