Barnsley’s League 1 season continues against Port Vale at Oakwell on Saturday; with this a traditional 3pm kick-off.

An eight-match losing streak was ended in midweek when Barnsley secured a much needed win over York on Tuesday as a reaction to the FA Cup upset defeat at Altrincham last Saturday was seen to ease some of the pressure on Lee Johnson.

Now the run of seven successive defeats in the league is something the Head Coach will be looking to end when Port Vale visit tomorrow.

Johnson will have recent additions Adam Hammill, back for his second spell with Barnsley after the free agent signed a deal until January, and Newcastle loanee Ivan Toney available for league debuts after the JPT appearances in midweek.

Marley Watkins (suspension) is back after serving his one-game ban but Reece Wabara (also suspension) will now sit out a match after five yellow cards with Josh Scowen (knee ligament damage) out for up to three-months and Ryan Williams (groin) still out.

Port Vale could bring in Non-League signing JJ Hooper with Uche Ikpeazu (suspension) available again but Enoch Andoh (knee) isn’t going to play again this season.

The Reds will hope for a positive result, but will this happen?

Whatever the line up expectancy will be high and ahead of the game we’re looking for your views on what way you think it will go, which obviously requires you to vote in the latest poll one of three ways….
