Barnsley are in Johnstone’ Paint Trophy action against Bradford at Valley Parade on Tuesday, with this a 7:45pm kick-off as we try again after last weeks postponement!

This is a second round tie that was expected to be done and dusted by now, however the postponement just ahead of kick-off a week ago means Barnsley go again with the Reds seeking a reaction to the disappointing defeat against Crewe in the league at the weekend against Yorkshire rivals Bradford tonight.

Second Time Lucky For Johnson – Click Here.

Bradford will have James Meredith, Rory McArdle and Lee Evans (all international duty) back and available for this, so long as they return fit and well but West Ham loanee Reece Burke (international duty) is still away.

Christopher Routis (calf) is doubtful but Mark Marshall, James Hanson and Billy Knott should be involved.

Lee Johnson on the other hand will still be without Conor Wilkinson, Simeon Jackson and Dan Crowley (all international duty) as this trio are still away with their countries so can’t be called upon!

Barnsley’s Head Coach doesn’t go into this with any fresh concerns though but loanee Michael Smith (ineligible) misses out with Ryan Williams (groin) not yet ready to return.

The Reds will hope for a positive result, to progress into the third round, which is actually the Quarter Finals of JPT with York awaiting, but will this happen?

Whatever line up Johnson goes with expectancy will be high of at least one more tie, and ahead of the game we’re looking for your views on what way you think it will go, which obviously requires you to vote in the latest poll one of two ways….

Barnsley win
Bradford win

Not only do we want you to cast your vote, which you do to your right, we’re also looking for your thoughts and views too so do share some of those with your comments below.
