Barnsley’s League 1 season continued with a draw at Bloomfield Road against Blackpool on Saturday.

Many probably would have expected a win as Barnsley went to Blackpool, however a Redshaw goal cancelled out Hourihane’s early strike to give the Reds the lead in a game that ended in a one-one draw.

The lead didn’t take long in coming for Hourihane (8) with his effort, not his cleanest strike ever, after good play from Watkins to set him up, but they all count and it put Barnsley one-up!

Cameron could have drawn Blackpool level soon after but with him not taking the chance Barnsley went into the break a goal to the good.

Blackpool did level things up early in the second half though when Potts gave Redshaw (55) the chance, which the former Morecambe striker took with Jones having a chance to win it for the Tangerines.

Hourihane could have also won it for the reds, who had to be content with a point.
