Barnsley’s League 1 season continued with a win against Swindon at the County Ground on Saturday.

A sixth successive win was secured by Barnsley with a late winner secured by the Reds in a one-nil win at Swindon.

With the unbeaten run set to go on, but go on with a draw, Sam Winnall got onto the end of a Josh Scowen cross for a ninth win in six-matches to win it and likely to see the Leeds interest in him increase before the transfer deadline.

Had it not been for Swindon ‘keeper Lawrence Vigouroux Barnsley would have gone ahead before.

Jon Obika and Fabien Robert were both denied by Barnsley ‘keeper Adam Davies with the limited chances the home side had.
