Here is our occasional look at how former Barnsley players did in last weekend`s games. It is now called Wiseman Watch due to the abuse that was received on Twitter and forums by some fans merely because I rated Wiseman as a player. My abuse was very little compared to what Wiseman received but I can see way he didn`t enjoy his time at the club almost from day one.

Marc Richards scored and was sent off as Chesterfield drew 2 – 2 with Rochdale. Matt Done played the full 90 minutes for Rochdale as Keith Hill`s team gained a good away point.

John Stones appeared for Everton as 79th minute substitute in their 1 – 1 draw at West Brom. Stones had recently been starting and gaining rave reviews so it will have been a disappointment to find himself back on the bench but there is no doubt he has a big future for club and country.

Jacob Butterfield was again an unused substitute for Middlesbrough, this again added fuel to the rumour of a loan return to Oakwell.

Scott Wiseman received the Preston man of the match in his first start for the club in a 1 – 1 draw with Coventry.

David Flitcroft`s Bury held high flying Burton to a 0 – 0 draw. The Bury team included both Jim McNulty and Daniel Nardiello.

Mido has been named as the new coach of Cairo club Zamalek.

But the performance of the week by a former red goes to Chris Dagnall. Daggers came off the bench at half time to score both goals as Leyton Orient came from behind to beat Crewe 2 – 1.
