Barnsley manager Simon Davey has been fined £500 and warned about his future conduct by the Football Association.

The Tykes boss was charged for comments he made to an assistant referee during Barnsley’s home defeat to local rivals Sheffield United on 8 November.

The Welsh gaffer attended a hearing in York today and admitted a charge of improper conduct.

Davey will not, however, receive a touchline ban after his comments made towards the referee’s assistant because of a penalty decision in the Red’s 2-1 defeat to Sheffield United back in November.
