Barnsley Player Ratings – Wiseman

Scott Wiseman endured a torrid time from the majority of the Barnsley fans for no reason at all.

Wiseman showed great character to bounce back from this and had a terrific end to the season.

Over the cause of the season Wiseman played well whether at right back, wing back and out of position at centre back when there were no other options.

He did make a few mistakes but every player did and they weren`t singled out for abuse.

For me he was one of our better performers and was made a scapegoat unfairly.
