Barnsley manager Mark Robins said that his side were ‘poor’ in Saturday’s defeat to relegation strugglers Reading.

Robins spoke to Barnsley Player after the game and said that ‘the goal was like something from a play ground.’

Griffin’s cross was fumbled by Luke Steele into the path of Sigurdsson who cut the ball back for Shane Long to tap in from 4 yards and give Reading all three points.

Reading also hit the post through McAnuff whereas Barnsley’s best effort was a long range shot hit wide by Adam Hammill. The stats speak for themselves, with no shots on target at all for the Reds, they’ll need to sort it out fast or face another defeat at Deepdale on Tuesday.
