A Late winner from Red Hot Jason Scotland gives the Super Reds all 3 points at Bloomfield Road.

Barnsley took the lead midway through the first half with a goal from Jim O’Brien. O’Brien had impressed in midweek at home to Millwall and got his deserved goal today.

Blackpool Leveled 10 minutes into the second half though Tom Ince, who is surprisingly still a Tangerine after the transfer window.

Flicker rang the changes and the new boys lifted the Reds, Pool keeper Matt Gilkes was sent off for handling outside the box from Chris O’Grady.

It would be Jason Scotland to make it 13 points from a possible 15 for David Flitcroft’s men with the winner 2 minutes from time. The results around us could have been better in recent weeks, though we are closing in on 50 points all the time!

You are probably right. Bringing in someone from outside with a fresh view was a good move on Flickers part. I now believe we have a good chance of staying up.

Can we keep this great run going..? Boro next up, they lost on Saturday, (unfortunately against Ipswich) who we could have done with loosing, but we are slowly catching the pack, so here’s to being unbeaten for the rest of the season with several wins sprinkled into that run and it’s happy days!

Saturday will be a hard game but I don’t see why we can’t get something there.
