Barnsley striker Kim Christensen has left Oakwell after having his contract terminated by mutual consent.
The Dane made thirteen appearances for the Reds last season and netted one goal.
His solitary goal earned the Reds a point at the Valley after Kim came off the bench to smash in an equalizer against Charlton.
Many fans had questioned Davey’s choice not to allow Christensen to feature on a more regular basis for the Tykes, sparking rumours of a rift between the two.
