Barnsley defender Lee Collins has extended his loans spell with Shrewsbury Town by a further month.

Collins joined the league one side in September and has played eight times during this spell. Collins has completed 90 minutes in every game he has played and the form of Shrewsbury has been much improved with Collins in the team.

I think it is likely that Collins will sign permanently for Shrewsbury in January as boss Keith Hill seems to have him way down the pecking order of defenders at the club.
