Barnsley striker Michael Coulson starts the long road to recovery for the second time after suffering another terrible knee injury

Speaking to the club’s official website, a frustrated Coulson said:

‘My knee is still a bit sore and swollen and I now have to take it easy for the first fortnight. The first two weeks is always the worst because all I want to do is get back to the Club and start my rehab work.I have to wait for the swelling to go down and it is all about rest, icing my knee and trying to get a little bit of movement back.

‘The surgeon told me that the operation when very, very well and they managed to get a good new graft in there. I am sick of hospitals though.’

One must feel sorry for the former Scarborough man as the youngster has showed promise in the few matches he has appeared.

‘I know I am in for a long road back but I have done it before and I know what is coming. I cannot wait to get back to the Club and start again’.

Let it not be forgotten that Coulson scored Barnsley’s winning goal against Blackpool last season which sent them on their way to Wembley in the F.A. Cup.
