Barnsley manager David Flitcroft has admitted he may look to the loan market following an injury to Scott Goldbourne.

Another injury will leave the reds squad looking very light which is something Flicker is looking to avoid.

John Stones could be set for a return and Sky Sports have us linked with Ryan Tunnicliffe of Manchester United.

Whether Flicker wants a direct replacement for Goldbourne remains to be seen. I personally don`t think he does and that Kennedy could comfortably fill the left wing back role.

He may not be as young or quick as Goldbourne but he will still get up and down and offer more quality on the ball than Goldbourne does and put in more crosses.

Flicker may have reservations about Kennedy based on age, pace and fitness but I think he would fit in to that role well and there is McNulty and Hassell capable of slipping in to his role at centre back.
