Flicker Wants Strategic Plan

With Don Rowing stating that David Flitcroft will be offered the job as Barnsley manager and Flicker stating that he wants the job, you would think negotiations would be simple but that may not be the case.

Flicker wants a strategic plan to take the club forward and believes that this group of players needs looking after by the club.

The Barnsley saviour doesn`t want another 6 years scraping about in a relegation fight and knows the club need to think beyond fourth from bottom year after year.

I fully agree with Flicker, the way the club has been run over recent years has been poor and it needs to change.

Give the man whatever he asks for with regards to a plan going forward and help with players.

He won`t ask for money that isn`t there but there does need to be something in place for the club to progress. Once again Flicker is a man talking sense.

The big danger here, is if the board don’t change their ways, another club ‘with some money’ will come in and offer him what he wants..!

Come on Don, DF is a sensible bloke and won’t over spend, but he needs some support for the future.
