Young striker Jordan Hibbert has parted company with Barnsley after his contract was terminated by mutual agreement.

The 19 year old signed a professional deal at the club in July 2009 but never made a first team appearance.

Hibberts departure means that the club have let four players go this January with Onome Sodje leaving for Slovakia, Kayode Odejayi joining Colchester United and Jamal Campbell-Ryce signing for Bristol City.

Only one permanent signing has been made, Nathan Doyle joining Barnsley on a two and half year deal from Hull City.
