Barnsley’s big defender Darren Moore faces up to a month out with a groin tear.
The former Jamaican international was substitued in the 16th minute of Barnsley’s match with Watford on Saturday.
The Tyke’s physio, Matt Konopinski, told www.barnsleyfc.co.uk:
‘Darren picked up a groin injury in the first half against Watford last week. He went for a scan on Monday morning and this showed he had suffered a Grade Two tear of his abductor longus muscle.’
The former Derby man has won the Oakwell crowd over with a string of solid displays including a great goal down at the Valley against Charlton.
However, Konopinski confirmed the 34-year-old could be out for around a month:
‘He will be out for around four weeks’.
