No New Deals

Barnsley will not offer new deals to out of contract players Stephen Foster, Rob Edwards, Matt Done and John Rooney.

All other out of contract players will be offered new deals.

It comes as no surprise to me that no deals will be offered to those four but I will be sad to see Foster leave.

Foster has been a great servant to the club and very rarely let the team down.

There is no doubt that he has seen better days but I do think he would have been worth one more year as cover for the centre half or two we desperately need to come in alongside Cranie.
