Barnsley have completed the signing of James Bailey on a free transfer from Derby County.
The 25 year old has penned a two year deal at Oakwell,
Bailey is a midfielder who can also operate at right back.
He joined Derby from Crewe in 2010 for a substantial fee and made 65 appearances for the Rams.
He had a 37 game loan spell at Coventry in 2012/13 and looks to be a good signing for this level of football, especially on a free.
We have beat off other interest to land Bailey so maybe we do have a competitive budget after all.
