Barnsley manager Mark Robins says he has a list ‘as long as his arm’ of players he wants to bring in this summer.

In what will be Robins’ first preseason at the club, there’s much transfer action expected with half the first team squad out of contract.

The only permanent signing Robins made, Nathan Doyle, has gone on to do very well at the club and even made it into the running for the Player of the Year award.

It’s certain that Robins has an eye for a bargain, having picked up Adam Le Fondre at his previous club Rotherham United, who has scored 28 goals in 45 starts for the League 2 promotion hopefuls.

With Daniel Bogdanovic looking likely to exit the club this summer after rejecting a ‘generous offer’, Robins will have his work cut out replacing the 14 goal striker but the words is that he has handed his list of players to club owner Patrick Cryne already and the club are looking at what they can do to bring his choice of players in.
