Barnsley Boss Rejects Wolves

Barnsley boss David Flitcroft rejected an offer from Wolves before signing his Barnsley contract.

The relegated outfit moved for Flicker after sacking Dean Saunders but there was no persuading the Barnsley boss who knows he has something special at Barnsley.

Despite being in League One next season I know Wolves will have offered Flicker a lot more than Barnsley can pay.

I often wonder why any manager would want to drop a division. But many do and it is simply for the money.

I believe most managers in Flicker`s position would have accepted the Wolves offer. Not Flicker. He has shown he is not driven by money and wants to finish what he has started at Barnsley. I have nothing but complete admiration for this man.

THANK GOD FOR THAT – WE NEED A MANAGER WITH PEDIGREE, NOT A MANAGER OF A TWO BIT TEAM LIKE Barnsley, ok you are in the championship, but come on you are *****e, thanks for that Dave you are at your level, we are to big for you even in league 1.

Wolves are where they deserve to be, who’d want to manage a club who are off to Div 2 by the looks of things..has beens We might we a smaller club, but we don’t think we’re better than we are, unlike you!

The fact that DF didn’t think you were worth considering, tells you all about your club in general!
