Winning run to continue even further?
I did a brief preview about the game v Stoke City,wondering if the winning run could
continue. It did! 4 games in succession now.
Can it continue even further? As Bob the Builder might say (if he was a Barnsley fan), “Yes
it can!”
Make no mistake, Millwall will be a big task – in their last 9 matches, they’ve won 4 & drawn
5, losing none!
Their away form is currently equally impressive. in their last 7 away matches, they’ve won
3, drawn 3 & lost 1 (at Forest).
Their danger man is top scorer & midfielder Ged Wallace who has 7 goals for the season;
we also welcome back (if we could be there) ex-Red Tom Bradshaw who’s scored 3 goals
this season. Tall target man, Matt Smith has also scored 3 goals.
But …. and it’s a big But at this time, they’re playing us & we’re on a winning streak with
performances to match. Millwall will have their hands full with Dike, Adeboyejo, Morris,
Chaplin &, of course, Woodrow with goals also coming from Mowatt & Styles, the Bury
Baggio.
My friend, Alan Smith, on the Red All Over show, keeps saying that we’re 2 points from
safety. The show’s (much younger) host, Joe Beardsall predicted at the start of the season
that we’d finish in 6th place – we called him a foolish happy clapper. Who’s foolish now?
