Alex Mowatt is my man of the match. He not only scored an absolutely worldy free kick but he also assisted for the other two goals. His all round game was also excellent. He covered every blade of grass as he usually does and his passing was crisp, precise and incisive.
The team as a whole have been superb lately and yet again there were no poor performances. That run of consistency obviously can’t continue but every player knows that if they let their performance dip then there is someone equally capable to take their place. Some know and accept that they may be rested despite a brilliant display.
We entertain Birmingham next at Oakwell on Saturday in a bid to make it seven wins on the spin. Birmingham are struggling in league table terms but are resurgent of late so this will be a difficult fixture like all are in the Championship.
