Steele Set For Greece

Barnsley goalkeeper Luke Steele looks set to join Greek club Panathinaikos with a medical taking place today.

The Greek club finished 4th in the league last season but won the play-offs for a Champions League spot.

This would be a great move for Steele and I would like to wish him all the best if the deal does go through.

Steele has been a great player for Barnsley over the years and has kept us in games countless times with fantastic saves.

I expect O`Grady, Cranie, Kennedy and Jennings to follow Steele out of the door. With the season now only weeks away, I am becoming increasingly worried by the number of players that we have and the overall quality of the squad.

Danny Wilson needs to do a lot of business in the coming weeks otherwise we could be in for a long hard season.

We are one of the bookies favourites to go up but if we don`t have some inward activity soon then I`d be more inclined to have a bet on a second successive relegation.
