Barnsley full back Rob Kozluk is set to play at Carrow Road with a protective mask after suffering from a fracture to the cheek bone.

Speaking to barnsleyfc.co.uk, Kozluk said:

“I am going to pick up a new mask today which I will wear at Norwich on Saturday. The mask itself has been made after they took a plaster cast of my face so it will fit perfectly. This one is a clear plastic as well so it will not be uncomfortable at all.

“To be fair I have nor felt any problems with the injury at all in the last week or so. I have trained fully and headed the ball but there is always a slight problem that another blow in the same spot would indent the fracture. That is what the mask is for and should I get his there again it will disperse the blow around my face.”

Kozluk injured his face after clashing with a Preston player back at Oakwell on the 28th December. But the 31-year-old is looking forward to getting back into the swing of things in a Red shirt:

“I am just looking forward to playing again after a couple of weeks out. We have another little break coming up after this game so it is important for us to win it and then we could have some of our injured players back.

“This is a game we can go and win. If we go there and perform in the same way that we did at Charlton and places like that then there will be only one winner.”
