With Adam Hammill’s move away from Oakwell closer than ever, Barnsley are active in the transfer market and are trying to bring in Danny Haynes.

The 22-year-old Bristol City striker, who can also operate as a winger, is out of favour at Ashton Gate and has been spotted at Oakwell for contract talks today.

Haynes has made just ten starts this season for the Robins, scoring one goal.

He has 5 caps for England at Under 19 level and also had a spell at Ipswich Town before joining Bristol City in 2009.

However the talented talisman’s career has fallen off the rails a little since he left Portman Road and the lad once scouted by Arsenal is looking to get back on track with Mark Robins’ Red Revolution at Oakwell.
