Premiership Players Lined Up

Barnsley boss Keith Hill has said he has loan deals lined up for two Premiership players. However it will be several weeks until the deals have a chance of going through.

The deals are agreed in principle but the players are currently away on pre-season tours with their clubs.

Hill expects the players to arrive at some point in August but also concedes that if the players do well on the tours with their clubs then they may not come to Barnsley at all.

That is the risks you take with the loan system but hopefully they will be able to come in and bolster the squad.
